How to have a spooktacular Halloween

How to have a spooktacular Halloween

If you're anything like the team here at Slouchy Towers, you'll be excited about the looming pumpkin fest of Halloween.

Trick or treat, dressing up as ghouls, scaring the kids - whats not to love ?

Here's a few tips on making it even more spooktacular!!

(i) Haunt your home - with Alexa

Got an Amazon Echo, Kindle or smart device ? You can use your voice assistant to cue up a frightful tale, by saying "Alexa, tell me a spooky story." Then, Alexa will deliver a Halloween story.

(ii) Make a frightful feast

Want to create some devilishly good food. BBC Good Food has some great ideas, including making Eerie eyeball popsSpider biscuits and Healthy Halloween pizzas

(iii) Get creative with your pumpkin

This little creepy crawler is the perfect addition to your Halloween tabletop. Here's how to make it: Remove the stem from a mini pumpkin and paint the whole thing with glossy black paint, then let it dry. Cut craft or floral wire into eight equal-length pieces and poke four wires into each side of the pumpkin. Bend each wire twice to make the legs. Using craft glue, attach a number of weird eyes onto the top of the pumpkin.

Mini Pumpkin

Of course, if you want to keep warm and snuggly (and ward off the ghouls and vampires) then make sure you get one of our lovely Slouchies. Comfy, fleecy and best of all, monster proof :)

Happy Halloween from the Slouchy Team!
